Vice President Kamala Harris has picked her choice for her Vice Presidential running mate. His name is Tim Walz, Governor of Minnesota.
Walz, a Democrat is the Governor of Minnesota and is serving his second term.
Among the many things he has been is a former high school teacher and coach of his school’s football team, and former member of the National Guard,
Waltz just exudes that “midwest” charm and seemingly is a cool guy to talk to and hang around, and feel comfortable with.
Many believe Walz is the best choice for the position. The other candidates that were considered were Pa. Governor Josh Shapiro, Sen Mark Kelly of Arizona and Walz.
Apparently Walz and Harris immediately hit it off when Waltz assured her of two things:
He had no “Presidential aspirations” and the “he had her back”
That apparently sealed the deal.
The thing that caught and endured many to the party was his characterization of the former President, Donald Trump and his Vice Presidential candidate as being,”weird”
Wow what a clap back. It’s the first time a Democratic has used a subtle but effective comeback using it as an offensive strategy that others in the Democratic party as using the characterization also.
The buzz and excitement is still pretty high with the Democrats feeling pretty confident going into the election.
He and Harris have been going into the crucial swing states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania where the reception has been very positive.
They also have slated to visit Arizona, and Nevada to continue their rallies to solicit support.
Other states as Georgia and North Carolina are also scheduled based on weather conditions. may allow.
