Former President Donald J. Trump turns himself in Georgia

Former President Donald J  Trump turns himself in Georgia as an arrest warrant was issued for State charges for election tampering over the 2020 Presidential election.

The former President is the first President to have a mug shot.

This is the fourth indictment for the former President, and the second one from a state.

He faces Federal charges of several crimes from Florida and Washington DC regarding his Post-Presidential behavior  and is accused of having documents as a former President should not have in his possession. He has been indicted of 34 counts in the state of New York of illegal and unlawful business practices.

He, like any US citizen is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a US court of lawThe mugshot taken of Donald Trump

NY Grand Jury Indicts President Trump on 34 Counts!

A New York Grand Jury has turned down a 34 page indictment against former President Donald J Trump yesterday 4/4/2023.

The former President turned himself over for arraignment, but no mug shots were taken nor was he put in handcuffs.

The President predicted he’d be arrested  weeks earlier on March 19th, but it didn’t happen.

After the 2 hour plus arraignment ended, the former President flew back to Florida to his Mar-a-Largo retreat.

Later that evening from his Florida retreat, he had a televised but brief press conference bemoaning  his list of grievances and attacking everyone in the process with or without  any part pf the process with un-substantiated claims.

Typical Trump press conference where he proclaims he’s the victim.

Senator Raphael Warnock retains his Seat in runoff

Senator Raphael Warnock retains his Senate seat in his runoff election against Republican Hershel Walker.  The runoff was required because neither candidate had 50% of the vote but there were three candidates running for the office.

The third candidate, Libertarian Chase Oliver had only 2.1 % of the votes in the first election back in November, but didn’t qualify to advance any further.

With more damaging information against Walker came out it was suprising he received that many votes, but he got votes because he was simply the Republican candidate.

The final tally was Raphael Warnock with 51.4% with 1,816.096 votes and Walker with 48.6% with 1,719.483 votes.

Congratulations Georgia. It’s taking time, but you’re heading in the right direction.

Hershel Walker in runoff..Huh????

The Groovisphere is amazed by this.. I guess only in Georgia huh? Even though revelations about his character would seemingly affect anyone else’s he’s survived.

Also factor in an independent candidate who was also in the Senate race made it impossible to secure 50% of the vote.

Well it’s between him and the incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock in their upcoming runoff for the vacant sear on December 6th.

We’ll see..

Is the Trump effect over?

For years former President Donald Trump has always prided himself in believing that he can and could influence election results by his endorsements. As  the mid-term elections of 2022 have passed, maybe not so much. Also many  who ran for political office on the platform of election fraud for the most part have lost badly too.

So does this mean the former President is losing his touch in endorsing candidates he’s backing. We’ll keep tracking this as time moves on.

Only time will tell and we’re watching the clock

Whether you think the republic is perfect or in peril, do the right thing and vote Election day in the United States is today, Tuesday November 8th. It’s easy to do and there are no excuses not to do so, so simply go out and vote.

Just when ya’ think it can’t get any does

Wow it’s been a crazy two years. Some says it’s maddening, others say it’s a place that the world have never seen before, at least for this generation.

Between a pandemic that has affected the world in profound ways to include Politics,Economics, and the way Humans treat each other will take some time to revert to a pre-pandemic if that ever should happen again.

And in the United States it’s election time again. There’s a lot on the line that could really affect the United States and North America in profound ways.

If the Democrats lose Congress, it’s all but certain former President Donald Trump will be encouraged to run again and should he win, he’d feel compelled to seek revenge on his political enemies real or imagined. He still (although it has proven)  that he did not win the election

That’s the way it looks from here in the Groovisphere.

Regardless of your political leanings, vote

Don’t be upset with the outcome if you don’t.
