Wow what’s going on here?  What have the Commanders learned after a break on their by week. Silly offensive paneities based on lack of discipline of  offensive line play killing either scoring opportunities or scores overturned by penalties.

After that shaky start the offense tightens up and defeats the Philadelphia Eagles 27-10

These penalties allowed the Eagles to score 10 points in the first quarter. The Eagles have none of their stars starting in this game.

The Commanders settled in and began successful soring drives and took the lead 13-10 by halftime.

The Commanders Defense is starting to tighten up  stopping the Eagles drives leading to crucial stops..

The Commanders get another turnover via interception late in the 3rd Quarter stopping an Eagles drive leading to Commanders big pass from Daniels to Burks to the 6 yard line but settle for a field goal extending their lead to 16-10.

Lots of action in the 4th Quarter with both teams exchanging field position but the Commanders scoring with a 40 yrd plus field goal extending their lead to 19-10.

Desperate to score with two minutes left in the game the Eagles on 4th and 25 throw an interception as the Commanders  finally score an additional TD and with 1:52  and a two point after the TD now leading 27-10 to win their 2nd win of the season.

The season is back on ..at least for a week. Los Angeles Rams are next.
